Day 10
Today is a full day at leisure in Szeged. It’s your option to watch a play from the Open-Air Theater, The Szeged Open-Air Festival is Hungary's largest 'open-air theatre' event. This festival with a tradition stretching back over 75 years is held annually in July and August. The Dóm square is transformed into a large outdoors theater and people from all over the country come here to see the plays; they usually have a good selection of operas and musicals. Or to be relaxed by a thermal bath in Anna fürdő, which is located downtown of the city and offer various natural, thermal water based pools, spas, saunas. Or go to Flea market on the Mars Tér, close to the bus station, which is actually the largest market in the whole of Szeged, to buy some of the most interesting souvenirs,Don’t forget to taste local, traditional food, such as the Fisherman's soup, sausage and salami. After this whole day rest, you will be on your next journey to Siofok tomorrow.
